Well, it all started with a rebellion... against bad tea.

You’ve heard of the Boston Tea Party — where colonists dumped crates of tea into the harbor. We’re doing the same thing, but spiritually. Out with the bland, watery brews. In with bold, spiced, unapologetically flavorful chai.

The real story? The year was 2015. Vishal, our founder, was a research scientist at Mass General Hospital. Every day, he’d look out the window and see the Boston Tea Party ship floating calmly — a symbol of protest. Meanwhile, he was silently protesting the total lack of good chai in America. After 13 years of suffering through sad teabags and lukewarm lattes, he cracked.

Inspired by Gandhi’s words — “Be the change you want to see in the world” — Vishal decided to lead his own tea revolution.
He called it the Boston Chai Party, because: Revolutions start small.

He was fed up.
The domain name was available.
And yes... it was his first “dad joke” — and it stuck.

Our blends use 100% natural ingredients—think black tea, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, and other traditional Indian spices. No preservatives, no artificial flavors, no weird stuff.

Our base is bold Assam tea—strong enough to hold up to spices and milk. If you want it extra strong, add more tea or simmer a bit longer.

Nope. Let’s clear this up:

“Chai” already means tea with milk. So “chai tea latte” is like saying “milk tea with milk tea.”

Our chai is the real deal—no sugary syrups or watered-down vibes. Just proper masala chai, brewed strong and spiced right.

It’s easy and worth it!

1. Boil 1/2 cup water + 1/2 cup milk (or milk alternative)

2. Add 1 heaping tsp of our chai blend

3. Simmer 5–7 minutes (let those spices do their thing)

4. Strain, sweeten if you want, and enjoy

Technically yes, but we recommend hot brewing for full masala flavor. If you’re after iced chai, brew it hot first, then cool it down.

Absolutely. Our chai works great with oat, almond, soy, or any milk alternative. Just simmer it the same way you would with dairy.

Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from light and moisture. Reseal the bag after each use to keep the flavor fresh.

The Chai Concentrate lasts for 6 months (refrigerated). Our Chai Masala and Tea stay fresh for about 12 months. But let’s be honest, they’ll be long gone before then.

The Chai Concentrate needs to be refrigerated for best taste. The Chai Masala and Tea do not need to be refrigerated.

We’re working hard to make our packaging more sustainable. Right now, our bags are recyclable where facilities exist, and we’re actively exploring compostable options.
