Empowering Women and Supporting Students in Assam
2025
In December 2025, we deepened our connection to tea-growing communities in Assam through direct, on-the-ground initiatives.
We supported female tea workers through women-focused wellness efforts, including the distribution of hygiene kits during our visit — reinforcing our commitment to dignity, health, and empowerment in the workforce.
We also visited the local school serving tea estate families to provide essential school supplies and classroom materials. Ari and Aarav, sons of founders Vishal and Rohini, helped distribute supplies, organized an art contest for the students, and shared moments of joy by giving out candies.
Because real impact happens when relationships are personal.
Giving Back in Boston and Beyond
2020
Boston is where our chai journey began, and we remain committed to giving back to the community that helped us grow.
Our initiatives have included:
- Donating to Boston-based nonprofits and local food drives
- Supporting frontline workers and small businesses during COVID-19
- Contributing to emergency relief efforts in both the U.S. and India during times of crisis
- Partnering with local and BIPOC-owned businesses whenever possible

Supporting Goodricke School for Special Education
2015
Since 2015, we have been honored to support the Goodricke School for Special Education in India — a school dedicated to children with physical and developmental challenges.
Our ongoing support contributes to resources and care that help create a more inclusive and nurturing learning environment for students who deserve every opportunity to thrive.
This long-standing relationship reflects our belief that meaningful impact is built over time.
2026: Building for the Future
In 2026, we plan to return to Assam to continue strengthening our relationships at origin. Our focus is to help improve school infrastructure — including building better classroom spaces and supporting access to clean water for students and families in tea estate communities.
Sustainable impact requires continued presence. We remain committed to showing up, listening, and contributing in ways that create long-term change.
